Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, phone number, WeChat ID, email, age range, English level, preferred destination, study duration, budget, accommodation preference, intended start date and message. We may also retain necessary technical and source information for security, abuse prevention and enquiry attribution.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare school and fee comparisons, support an application, improve the website and tools, handle security issues and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell enquiry information to third parties.
Referral source memory
When you open a valid Xiaou referral link, we verify the code on our server and use a separate first-party secure cookie to remember the source for up to 30 days. The period starts with the first valid visit and ordinary browsing does not extend it. The first source stays fixed, while a later valid referral link can update the latest source. You can turn this off at any time using Referral source preferences in the footer. Turning it off clears the browser context and prevents later referral links from restarting source memory until you actively enable it. A consultation already submitted keeps the source snapshot recorded at submission and is not rewritten when memory is turned off, a code is disabled or source details change. Referral memory is separate from Baidu Analytics. It does not change your analytics choice, and we do not send referral codes, raw URL queries or contact details to Baidu Analytics.
Schools and service providers
When you ask us to obtain a quote or support an application, relevant information may be shared with the selected school, accommodation or transfer provider where necessary. Hosting, database, storage and email providers may also process information under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes above, an active service relationship, dispute handling or legal obligations. We use access controls, authentication, operational records and managed storage to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, modification or loss.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to explain, access, correct or delete information you submitted, or withdraw consent to future contact. Some records may need to be retained for an active application, dispute or legal obligation.
Children and young people
A parent or legal guardian should participate when a minor uses an enquiry or application service. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information from a minor without appropriate authorisation.

Website analytics
Baidu Analytics is used on eligible public pages only after you choose to allow it. We turn off automatic pageviews and automatic event capture, then record only a page path without URL queries or fragments. Our pageview call does not include form fields, contact details or quote IDs.
We do not use this analytics setup on consultation, quote, administration or API routes. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the control below.
