ELC Sydney offers Homestay, Scape Quay St Residence, Iglu Chatswood Residence, Accommodation 4 Students (A4S), Link2 shared apartments and CozzyStay shared houses. Compare commute, meals or self-catering, room privacy and budget; the final room type and arrival date are confirmed in the enrolment documents.
A 2026 single homestay room is A$375 per week plus an A$430 placement fee. Breakfast and dinner are included daily and lunch at weekends. Homes are normally 40–60 minutes from ELC by public transport, with the host profile usually sent 2–4 weeks before arrival. An extra night is A$80; arrivals on Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day carry an A$110 charge. Host internet is available up to A$10 per week when applicable.
Scape Quay St is opposite ELC: six students share the kitchen and lounge, while each has an ensuite single room. In 2026 it is A$825 per week plus A$395 placement, usually for a minimum 10-week stay; a separate A$500 security deposit applies. Iglu Chatswood has five ensuite single rooms per ELC apartment, shared kitchen and lounge, and a 27-minute metro or 39-minute train journey to ELC; its published rate varies by arrival date and duration, with a four-week minimum. A4S has twin-share apartments: city-centre rooms are typically a 10–35 minute walk to ELC (A$330/week in 2026) and suburban rooms A$230/week; its 2026 placement is A$320 and includes a Kingsford Smith Airport transfer, while an A$500 security deposit applies. Link2 at 783 George Street is about two minutes from ELC, with 10–14 students per apartment: 2026 rates are A$500/week single or A$380/week per person in a twin, plus A$220 placement; two weeks is the minimum and 2–4 week bookings add A$100. CozzyStay offers 4–12 student shared houses with same-gender twin rooms, a 30–45 minute commute, at A$310/week per person plus A$340 placement in 2026; it is for offshore applicants, with a 4–12 week stay and booking at least four weeks before arrival.
