Confirm the target language and course type first
A Canadian city's language setting does not mean every school offers the same course. Edu-inter in Quebec City offers French-study programmes. If your goal is English, French examination preparation or another path, compare course language, level, start date and weekly pattern before selecting the city.
Validate housing through the everyday route
Put the campus address, candidate home, class time and first-day route with luggage together. Whether a homestay fits meals and school time, a residence's move-in date and a private rental's contract length can each determine whether a short programme is workable.
Design small tasks for French outside class
Do not promise an ideal language environment all day. Repeated tasks are more practical: make a purchase in the same shop, read a local notice, ask staff one clear question, then review vocabulary and misunderstandings in class.

A study permit or other entry arrangement depends on duration, school, passport and individual circumstances. Canada.ca's Study in Canada page is an entry point for current official direction. Recheck against the actual course before paying, extending housing or buying a non-refundable flight.
