Homestay can create a daily language setting
A homestay may suit learners who want predictable meals, local routines and short everyday conversations. Ask who lives in the home, whether the host expects meals together, which language is used, arrival time rules, laundry arrangements and how dietary or medical needs are handled.
A student residence brings a different kind of independence
A residence can make it easier to meet peers and manage one’s own meals and schedule. Confirm resident age mix, supervision, reception hours, kitchen and laundry access, guest rules, noise policy, security, room-sharing arrangement and the route home after evening classes.
Compare on one complete-cost basis
Put rent, placement or booking fee, deposit, utilities, meals, linen, cleaning, internet, transfer and daily commute on the same date range. Ask for cancellation, change and damage rules in writing; a lower weekly rate is not necessarily the lower total cost.
