Use this content as a planning framework. School availability, promotions, visa, entry and travel rules can change; verify current requirements with the relevant authority before making a binding decision.

Start the Student visa 500 evidence chain with the CoE

The core school document for Student visa 500 is the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Confirm that course, campus, dates and CoE are genuine and current; an intention, quote or old offer cannot replace a current CoE.

Health cover and under-18 welfare

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is generally required under Home Affairs rules, and an applicant under 18 also needs an acceptable welfare arrangement. Insurance, guardianship, housing and course dates must fit; promotional wording does not replace written arrangements.

Keep the Genuine Student account tied to the real course

Explain why this course, previous study or work, English level, why Australia now and the next step after completion. The point is truthful consistency, not a template immigration narrative or an unsupported career promise.

Submission, waiting and travel

Submit through official channels such as ImmiAccount and retain payment and uploaded versions. The processing-time tool does not predict an individual result; after grant, recheck visa conditions, course start, OSHC, housing and entry documents.
