Use the length of stay to distinguish short stay and study residence
A Schengen short stay is not the same route as longer study and residence in Malta. Mainland Chinese students should use Identità's current Student Visa page for the actual course length, provider status and consular district, not tourism assumptions or another applicant's experience.
Acceptance, housing, insurance and funds
Prepare acceptance or school evidence matching the real course, housing arrangements, suitable medical insurance and funding evidence. Timing and materials for non-EU longer study residence follow Identità's current instructions and school support; names, dates and course details must be consistent across versions.
Make the course and personal plan explainable
Explain why study now, why Malta and this course, present language level and the plan after completion. Do not portray a short English course as an untrue long-term education plan or omit material education and work history.
Keep evidence verifiable before and after submission
Retain school confirmation, payment, insurance, housing and source-of-funds records. Translation, signature, appointment, biometrics and further-document steps are governed by the relevant official channel; do not predict processing time or outcome.
Final travel check
After a decision, use current official information to check travel documents, course start date and any residence follow-up. Do not manage course changes, extensions or address changes from an old guide; contact the school and official channel.
