If you want classroom-external life to reach these daily settings easily, that central position is a condition to assess. Also test the morning and evening route from candidate accommodation to Queen Street, including arrival with luggage.
When considering evening full-time or part-time study, do not confirm only the course name. Confirm actual hours, routes to and from campus, accommodation access and post-class review time to see whether they form a workable week over time.
Christchurch: decide through the central campus and ordinary life radius
LSNZ Christchurch is on Cashel Street in the city centre, with city commercial, transport and cultural facilities described as walkable in the school's material. For students who want class, shopping and activities inside a clear daily radius, this guides a decision better than an abstract judgement about whether a city is lively.
Ask the school whether your course is morning, afternoon or another time, then test the route from an actual accommodation address. For IELTS Academic Preparation or junior courses, confirm relevant age, start-date and support arrangements at the same time as the city choice.
Queenstown: let outdoor preferences support, not replace, the study plan
LSNZ Queenstown is in Remarkables Park and its material mentions lake, mountain, skiing and outdoor resources. It may suit a student who wants outdoor activity as part of life beyond class, but activity imagery must not replace course comparison. Confirm the 25-, 20- or 15-hour option, timetable and actual route from accommodation first.
If outdoor activity is a major reason to go, place equipment, transport, weather-change alternatives and coursework time into the weekly plan.
