Three months is the key boundary for study activity
Immigration New Zealand’s Visitor Visa page says visitors may study for up to three months; planned full-fee study beyond three months should be checked through the Full Fee-Paying Student Visa page. Put total course weeks, holidays, make-up teaching and arrival and departure dates on one calendar rather than using ‘about three months’.
A school offer must support the specific student-visa facts
Where a course may enter the student-visa route, obtain school evidence for course, campus, start and finish, fees, paid amount or payment arrangement and accommodation support. Language programme, English-level, insurance or minor-care requirements can differ, so use the provider’s current written material.
Do not copy post-arrival conditions from another country
New Zealand conditions for study, work, travel and course changes must be checked against the granted visa or eVisa record and current immigration guidance. When plans change, retain old and new documents and ask the school’s international-student support team; do not buy services marketed as a ‘status switch’ or guaranteed result.
